Murphy's Bush

Murphy's Bush, located at 160 Murphy's Bush Road Flat Bush, Manukau has the largest remaining
land of mature lowland bush in Auckland and the finest examples of mature Kahikatea which
are coniferous and endemic to New Zealand

What we found very striking and different in this bush, are the many palm
trees rather than tree ferns as seen in other New Zealand bush

A character filled tree.  Notice the face?

And behind this tree an equally interesting branch extends

In the middle of the bush you are met by a pleasant surprise - open glades
which provide excellent picnic sites
